Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Support Representative in the Deposit Accounts Call Center. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with inquiries, providing information about deposit accounts, and resolving issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. This position is based in our call center and involves handling a high volume of incoming calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls from customers and provide assistance with deposit account-related inquiries.
  • Explain various types of deposit accounts, including savings, checking, and fixed-term deposits, to customers.
  • Help customers with account openings, closings, and account maintenance procedures.
  • Resolve issues related to deposits, such as missing or delayed transactions, account discrepancies, and fee disputes.
  • Assist customers in accessing and managing their online and mobile banking services for deposit accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and security procedures when handling customer information and transactions.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor for resolution.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer support or call center role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of deposit accounts and banking products is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively assist customers over the phone.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Good computer skills and familiarity with banking systems and software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a high volume of calls while maintaining quality service.
